15KVA Single Phase Encapsulated Dry Type Transformer Low Voltage 480V to 120V Glue Filling NEMA 4X 304 SS DOE Efficiency

Single-phase encapsulated (dry-type) transformers use solid insulation to provide electrical insulation and cooling, eliminating oil or liquid-filled insulation. Commonly used indoors for improved fire safety, environmental compatibility, and easier installation, "encapsulated" means the windings and core are embedded in solid potting material.

Enclosure: constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and lasting appearance, the housing protects internal components from moisture, chemicals, and environmental contaminants common in industrial and outdoor sites. Built to NEMA 4X standards, the watertight, corrosion-resistant enclosure is suitable for outdoor and washdown environments and resists windblown dust and rain, splashing and hose-directed water--making it ideal for coastal, chemical-processing, and other harsh conditions.
